Introduction to Dual Pulse Power Supply

 Dual Pulse Power Supply

The dual pulse power supply is a further development and innovation of high-frequency switching power supply technology. It can be used in electroplating production or experimental testing, etc. The full name is a smoothing/bidirectional pulse wave adjustable switching power supply. It is a branch of pulse power supplies; the other is a single pulse power supply, and the two can often be converted to each other on one power supply. In other words, pulse power supplies can generally output both dual pulses and single pulses.

Power Supply Introduction

The dual pulse power supply is the latest generation of electroplating power supply products, also known as a smoothing/bidirectional pulse wave adjustable switching power supply; it rectifies the industrial frequency AC power into a high-voltage DC power supply, generates a low-voltage, high-current power supply through high-frequency voltage transformation and high-frequency rectification, then filters it into a pure DC power supply through LC filtering, and then sends it to an asymmetrical full-bridge conversion circuit (also known as a chopper circuit) to generate an artificial smoothing wave (i.e., pure DC) or bidirectional pulse square wave output.

Technical Parameters of the Dual Pulse Power Supply

1. Output Voltage: The peak voltage difference between the two terminals of the output end. The output voltage displayed on the panel is the absolute value of the voltage difference between the terminals when connected.
2. Output Current: The effective value of the current flowing through the output circuit, equal to the product of the current value (output current peak) in the output circuit when connected and the duty cycle.
3. Duty Cycle: The ratio of the high-level time to the entire cycle time. Duty cycle = pulse width / (pulse width + pulse interval)
4. Output Frequency: One on-off cycle is called a period, and the output frequency is the reciprocal of the period.
5. Pulse Width: The time during which the direct current is on in a small on-off cycle, i.e., t.
6. Pulse Interval: The time during which the direct current is off in a small on-off cycle, i.e., T-t.
7. Switching Time:
Forward Switching Time: The total time of the small cycles where the voltage difference between the red and black terminals of the output end is positive.
Reverse Switching Time: The total time of the small cycles where the voltage difference between the red and black terminals of the output end is negative.

The Future of Electrical Equipment Manufacturing: Technological Innovation in High-Frequency Switching Power Supplies

The Future of Electrical Equipment Manufacturing: Technological Innovation in High-Frequency Switching Power Supplies In today's rapidly developing era, the electrical equipment manufacturing industry is facing unprecedented challenges and opportunities. In particular, technological innovation in high-frequency switching power supplies is bringing new vitality to this industry. So, what is a high-frequency switching power supply? And how does it drive the future of the electrical equipment manufacturing industry? Basic Concept of High-Frequency Switching Power Supply Simply put, a high-frequency switching power supply is a device that controls energy conversion through high-frequency switching technology. Imagine a faucet; different water pressures and flow rates determine the amount of water supplied. A high-frequency switching power supply is like this faucet, precisely controlling the output of electrical energy. They are widely used in communications, industrial control, medical equipment, and other fields. Technological Innovation in High-Frequency Switching Power Supplies In recent years, the technology of high-frequency switching power supplies has been constantly innovating. First, the improvement in efficiency is obvious. Imagine you are cooking in the kitchen; if the thermal efficiency of the gas stove is improved, you can not only save gas but also shorten the cooking time. This is equally important for high-frequency switching power supplies. By adopting more efficient conversion technologies, manufacturers can not only reduce energy consumption but also reduce the heat generated by the equipment, improving overall performance. Furthermore, the size reduction is also significant.
